Welcome to Heels With Wheels

Heels with Wheels is a women’s fashion line that is dedicated to helping other women who have been through a life changing experience see their ability, not their disability. 

My name is Angela Irick and I am the founder and owner of Heels with Wheels. 

For years I searched the Internet to find clothing that would be beneficial and practical health wise — only to discover that there were not very many options and not up to date with the fashion industry.  I reached out to many female wheelchair users to try to find out where they shop and they too ran across the same problems as I did.

After many many years of complaining and cutting off back pockets of my jeans, having torn belt buckle loops, searching everywhere for the right pair of shoes/heels, I decided to take matters into my own hands.  Start a clothing line for people with disabilities — but that was too limited for me.  I didn’t want to separate the disabled from the non-disabled. 

Fashion is about inspiring and uniting each other.  Not only do I want Heels with Wheels to be for the disabled but so fashionable that even people without disabilities would want to purchase our merchandise!
